ABOUT
Damari Rubio grew up with many fashion influences. Her mother, who grew up in El Salvador, came to the United States and was quickly infused by 80’s fashion and still added her own Spanish flare. Damari’s aunts taught her to always be self- confident and that it is okay to take risks with fashion. While working at Victoria’s Secret, Damari realized her eye for fashion and enjoyed helping women feel beautiful. A few years later, Damari was given the opportunity to work for a hotel marketing firm were she got to travel and represent extraordinary hotels. Damari strongly believes that nothing happens by chance. So she has been able to combine both of her passions, fashion and travel into one. She is now the Creative Director of her fashion glove line DAMARI, all influenced by her travels. PERSONAL LIFE Born on June 3, 1983, in Houston, Texas, designer Damari Rubio is one of the few glove designers and makers in the United States and in the fashion industry. She is the middle child of Jacob and Ana Isabel Rubio.
